Calling all Algoma and Kewaunee Library Patrons! Our libraries are hosting a PENNY WAR to raise money for a local organization - Violence Intervention Project here in Kewaunee County. We are having this fun month-long competition to see which library and it's patrons can raise the most money. The prize? BRAGGING RIGHTS! To participate, stop in your library branch to contribute to our PENNY WAR jar. Ends September 30th!
As a library, we want to continuously give back to our community whether it is having fun in a competition like this or attending programs we have each month for our patrons. Libraries are a place of empowerment. A place where people can come in to utilize our library for our public computers, access media resources, get technology help and so much more. So, if you don't have a library card stop by today to get one! We can't wait to meet you.
