Every Month on the Second and Fourth Tuesday, Tweens and Teens are invited to come to the Algoma Public Library from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm for snack (provided by the Library) and a quiet place to work on homework. A librarian will also be available to help (to the best of her ability) if there are any homework questions.
A kit designed for Adults, inspired by literary books and all non-alcoholic drinks! Kit includes 2-3 recipes and some ingredients. Participant is responsible for purchasing the rest of the ingredients. Kits available to pick up at the circulation desk starting Monday, January 24th.
Join us as we discuss American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins on Tuesday, January 18th at 1 pm. Books can be put on hold on infosoup or by stopping in the library to place a hold with one of our friendly librarians. This book has large print, regular print and ebook editions available.

Kids- Set some goals for the new year! This kit has some ideas to celebrate you and make 2022 the best year for you! Available Monday, January 10th while supplies last.
Coding isn't just for the kids, it can be a family activity too. This program is designed for families in mind! This month's activities are screen-free coding meaning there will be no devices requiring a device. Come learn on Saturday, January 8th at 11 am why coding is great for problem-solving, critical thinking, educational and team building. Activities will be set up so that families can rotate through them.
We strongly encourage kids to be attended by an adult as this is a family activity. How well do you know your library? Stop by the library for some fun trivia about the library! Participants get a prize for participating.
