In order to do so, she must find her estranged sister with the help of a mountaineer and a reindeer. Come have some fun with us. This is no ordinary showing either! Rated PG. ​

After a long day of learning, come to the library to unwind with friends.

Every SECOND and FOURTH Monday the Algoma Public Library will be hosting the Teen After School Games at 3:30 PM. We will have board games, card games, and, once in a while, video games. 

For this session, we will be setting up the xbox 360 for free playing. 

All games will be provided by the Library. Snacks will, on occasion, be provided.

Tuesday, February 11th at 5 pm at the St. Agnes Episcopal Church, Algoma. 

This book club is where participants get a chance to try out a cookbook together. Rules are simple. Each participant chooses one recipe to make in advance - sign up about a week before the meeting (to avoid duplicate recipes), make the recipes as directed in the cookbook, bring your cooked meal in to share day of and enjoy! Participants do not need to purchase the cookbook, one copy of the cook book will be available at the circulation desk to view and all participants are eligible for (1) FREE photocopy of their recipe if there are not enough cookbooks to take home. Our next cookbook is Slow Cooker Revolution : one test kitchen, 30 slow cookers, 200 amazing recipes / by the editors at America's Test Kitchen. Books will be available mid January! ​

​The Library will be having a stuffed Animal Sleepover, Friday, February 7 at 5:30pm. Bring in a stuffed animal and wear your PJs to this special evening storytime. We will be reading stories, making a craft, and tucking the animals in for a sleepover at the library! Pick up your animals anytime starting Saturday morning to find out what your animals were up to!

Interested in reading a fun and easy mystery? This book by Kathleen Ernst is the first in the Chloe Ellefson mystery series. Chloe is new to her job and wants to make a fresh start but things start a little off on day one. Chloe finds that as she uncovers the history of an old family heirloom - things are starting to get dangerous for her at Old World Wisconsin.

Our book club meets on Thursday, February 6th at 5 pm to discuss this fun novel.
