 Join us on Wednesday, May 25th from 11 am to 12:30 pm on an educational course on the topic of Dementia. Dementia is currently the 6th leading cause of death in the United States, with Alzheimer's being the most common cause of dementia among older adults. This disease is often difficult to understand and is a sensitive topic to discuss. Dementia 101 will discuss the differences between "normal aging" and more serious cognitive decline caused by diseases such as Alzheimer's.
For more information or to register, call the Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore at 1-877-416-7083. The class will be capped at 10 attendees, with later registrants added to a wait list. Future classes will be held based on interest.
 Join us on Tuesday, May 17th at 1 pm as we discuss A Slow Fire Burning by Paula Hawkins. Books can be put on hold on infosoup or by stopping in the library to place a hold with one of our friendly librarians. This book has large print, regular print and ebook editions available on Libby.
 Stop by starting Monday, May 16th to pick up a kit designed for Adults, inspired by the upcoming Memorial Day weekend and all non-alcoholic drinks! Kit includes 2-3 recipes and some ingredients. Participant is responsible for purchasing the rest of the ingredients
 Saturday, May 7th. 11am-12pm. Young Ladies and Gentlemen, along with a parent or guardian, are cordially invited to attend a Tea Party. We are having a very special Wonderland tea time. Tea, lemonade, and a few small treats will be provided. Geared for 4-8 year olds. Registration is Required. If the 11 am time slot fills up we will offer a second Tea Party at 1 pm.
 Kids can create a perfect gift for Mom with this fun kit. Available while supplies last.
