Geared towards Children and Family. Do you have yarn that you'd like to give to or share with other crafty crafters? Would you be inspired if you had a new "stash" of fabric or yarn to get creative with? Bring in your excess yarn to exchange for other yarn starting Monday, November 1st to Saturday, November 13th. This is a FREE event and open to the public. To pick up your new-to-you yarn, stop in on Thursday, November 18th between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Join us and get crafty! The great thing about Coding is that it doesn’t have to be online or electronic! This kit will give you and your family some activities that will work on logic, critical thinking, problem-solving, patience, fine motor skills and creativity. Kit includes 3 activities and instructions. Some additional supplies are needed. Limit 1 kit per family. *This particular kit is beginner to intermediate level. Kits are available to pick up Wednesday, November 10th.

In early November, the Algoma Public Library is encouraging it's community to Give Thanks to friends, neighbors, public officials, volunteers, teachers, and more. If you would like to Give Thanks, submissions will be taken on our website (www.algomapubliclibrary.org), through email (sent to [email protected]), or in the Library through an anonymous submission jar. From November 15th to the 19th, those wonderful moments of thankfulness will be posted in the Library for the whole community to see. In addition to being at the library, the Local Cable Network will be airing our Give Thanks video during Give Thanks Week!
