It's National Poetry Month!

Our staff welcome you to celebrate poetry and prose with this digital, interactive escape room. Set on our own Algoma Boardwalk, test your skills in the art of poem making to make it to the end of your promenade down the boardwalk. Mixed in with some local history/trivia along the way.

​This Escape Room is geared towards Families, Teens, and Adults. Not recommended for younger children to attempt alone as some complicated poetry concepts will be involved.

Bev Davis is a former hospital chaplain at Meriter Hospital in Madison, but now is a hospice hospital chaplain with Unity Health in Door County, and she now lives in Algoma!

Davis’s newest book, the award-winning Winging It! A Monarch Love Story, is based on a true story. In the book, “Chesterina", a Monarch butterfly is successfully guided by her human friends, Grandma Eileen and her granddaughter Maya to a new life at Edna’s Garden, a botanical refuge in Chicago.
​Davis's books all demonstrate the importance of unconditional love and how it changes the world we live in. Her books are stories that are meant to showcase the best in all of us no matter how different we may be.
