If you have four minutes and would like to learn more about our Young Adult (Teen) Summer Reading program, check out the video above.  The 6th Annual Outdoor Movie will be...Raya and the Last Dragon! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks and join us for a fun family friendly evening at the Movies!
Sponsored by the Algoma Public Library and the Algoma Community Development Committee. Legion Park, Algoma 620 Lake Street There will be popcorn! The Movie will start at dusk. (Approximately 8:15-8:30)  Become a graphic artist with the help of this kit. Available Thursday, July 16th while supplies last at Algoma Public Library.
 Create your own mini fairy or gnome jar. Kit includes a jar, a fairy or gnome, green grass glue dots and decoration. Feel free to add to your jar too!
Warning: there are small pieces in this kit, not intended for little children to play with. Supplies are limited.  Starting Tuesday, July 8th, Teens can pick up Bubble Art Kits at the Algoma Public Library. Inspired by the tend on TikTok, each kit will have the supplies to make a small version of the viral bubble art. This kit is for Teens and will be available on a first come, first served basis.  Graphic Novels and Manga are a great way to tell a story through pictures. Teens, starting Thursday, July 15th, stop by the library to get your own "Make Your Own Manga Kit". Inside will be ideas on how to start your manga, templates showing different Manga panels, and blank pieces of paper so you can make a layout unique to your story.
These kits will be for teens and will be available on a first come, first served basis.  Join Braelyn on Instagram Live (or Facebook Live if there are Technical issues) Tuesday, July 13th at 4:00 PM for an informative livestream about different magical/mythological creatures that aren't as widely known as the usual Unicorns, Dragons, Nymphs, and Mermaids.  Join Braelyn on Instagram Live (or Facebook Live if there are Technical issues) on Wednesday, July 14th at 5:00 PM to see how you can make your own Faux Stained Glass on a budget.
 Make your own mermaids with this fun kit. Available Monday, July 12th while supplies last at Algoma Public Library.
 Join Katie virtually in her kitchen and learn a new recipe! Each month Katie will make some snack or meal and share her recipe. This month is homemade sherbet! The event will be done on Facebook Live.
 Stop in to pick up a kit to make an Owl out of recycled books! Kit includes book and other supplies needed. You will need glue / hot glue gun. If using hot glue gun adult supervision is required. While supplies last.
