Backpack Bounties Kits Available! We are thrilled to introduce weekly Backpack Bounties kits, a key part of local Scout, Sean Smith's Eagle Scout project. Nearly a year ago, Sean reached out to our library with a desire to make a meaningful contribution. He envisioned creating activity kits for families to pick up and work on together. So, take a break from technology and explore the joys of reading and discovery together!
Sean will be at the library, handing out the kits every Wednesday from June 19 through July 31 from 10:30am until 12:30pm. Kits will be available (one per family or child depending on kit) on a first-come first served-basis, while supplies last.
Join us in this exciting journey and discover the adventures that await!
A message from Sean: Welcome to Backpack Bounties! My name is Sean Smith from Algoma’s BSA (Scouting America) Troop 1019. My Eagle Project is designed for families to spend time reading, discovering, and exploring. This has been a huge passion of mine since I was little to read and discover. On all the kits, you will see my logo that I designed specifically for this Eagle Project. During the next few weeks, I will be at the Algoma Library on Wednesdays to provide a new learning kit. I hope to see you at the library!
