Algoma Public Library and Kewaunee County 4-H are teaming up this summer to bring you an unforgettable detective adventure. Young sleuths are invited to the library to explore different investigative methods over multiple sessions in June and July. This interactive program encourages observation, problem‑solving, and scientific thinking through materials and methods used in the real world. Budding detectives will leave this program with a toolkit and the deductive reasoning skills to solve mysteries on their own.
Registration is recommended as supplies are limited.
Wednesdays at 1 pm, June 17–July 29, with no session on July 15.

Celebrate America's 250th with us as we learn how American Revolutionary War Patriots risked life and liberty for the cause of independence. A local member of Daughters of the American Revolution will be here on Thursday, June 18th, 2026 at 1:30 pm. "Patriots - Pioneers - Progeny" presentation will share stories about the migration to Northeast Wisconsin by some of the children and grandchildren of the patriots and their impact on our area. We also discuss how our American Revolutionary War ancestors' dedication lives on in their current-day descendants.
