Participate in our Frosty Reading Challenge from January 2nd - February 28th, 2026 at the Algoma Public Library for a chance to win prizes. Open to ages 2 and up. For kids (ages 2-12 years) they can earn a FREE ticket voucher to Disney On Ice (February 18th-22nd in Green Bay) OR Monster Jam (March 27-29th) in Green Bay by reading 5 books. If kids read 10 books they can earn BOTH Disney On Ice AND Monster Jam ticket vouchers.
Teens and Adults (ages 13 and up) can pick up a BINGO sheet. Earn a line of Bingo for a prize OR earn a blackout to win a bigger prize. For more details, please stop at the library for more information.

The Lunar New Year is February 17th to March 3rd. The year of the FIRE HORSE is here! The FIRE HORSE symbolizes energy, freedom, and forward momentum. To celebrate, we have a Mahjong game and our Nintendo Switch playing Mahjong available to play on here in the library on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 from 2 - 4 pm.
