***NOTE: Due to low interest, this event has been cancelled.***

The Algoma Public Library will be hosting our very first "Bring and Barter" event on Wednesday, July 12th from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Algoma High School Auxiliary Gym.

What is a "Bring and Barter" event? This is a "no money" exchange event where patrons are invited to sign up for a table, bring home made products or gently used items, and trade with other participants that are attending.

For example: if our Young Adult Librarian has a table of homemade jams and jellies while our Adult Librarian has quilted lap mats, our Young Adult Librarian might ask if she could trade two jars of jam for one small lap mat.

Participants are asked to reserve a table by Monday, July 10th at 7 PM so that we will have the appropriate tables available.
