Lady looking in the closet Picture
Each of us has a story worth telling. Right now, Wisconsin Historical Society is looking for stories of COVID 19 and how we coped. Stories can be told via print or through a variety of artistic efforts - quilting, family photos, painting and so on. If planning to research for an in-depth story using a variety of search engines, be careful what you wish for because you're going to find the skeletons in your closet! Presented by Virginia Feld Johnson. Video will be shared online via Facebook and here.

Monday, July 6th, 2020 at 4:00 PM

Picture
Have you ever enjoyed the scavenger hunts that we hold at the library? How about one that you can do in your own home?

Our Young Adult Librarian has a challenge. She will have prompts for things you need to find in your home. Take a picture of an item that you feel fits the prompt within the time limit, and show Braelyn a picture that fits the prompt. If you don't make it back in time or don't fulfill the prompt, you will not get a point. The person/family with the most points at the end gets a prize!

Have fun and challenge yourself to see the potential in your household items.
(This program is open to anyone and will be held via Google Hangout. Braelyn asks that only one phone is capturing prompt pictures per video: for example, if a family is participating via one webcam, please don't have every family member taking pictures individually.)

Sign-Up will be available closer to the event.
