September is almost over and hopefully you got in your Elemental by getting a new library card or renewing your card. To celebrate, we are watching the new movie Elemental (2023) on Saturday, September 30th at 11 am. Elemental is set in Element City, where fire-, water-, land- and air residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
Rated PG with a run time of 101 minutes.

Tuesday, September 26th at 3 PMMeeting on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, join Braelyn for Adult Creative Writing. We will have writing prompts and activities for those looking for inspiration. The first hour will be used for brainstorming and writing, the time left will be for sharing our pieces (for those that would like to). All materials will be provided by the Library (paper, pens, pencils). Sharing of new or old pieces is encouraged, but not required.

Join us on Tuesday, September 12 at 10am for our special 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Kickoff Storytime!
The Kickoff is open to any child that has not entered kindergarten, and also for those children who are already working towards the goal. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten is a library program that encourages parents and caregivers to read 1000 books with their young children before they enter kindergarten. Books and other rewards are given as incentives along the 1000 book journey. We are so excited to add this new gaming device to our library programming. Stop by and try it out Tuesday, September 12th between 1:15-5 pm.
To give everyone a chance to play time slots on the Oculus will be limited to 20 minutes per person. We will be painting/ carving pumpkins at the library again this year on Wednesday, October 18th from 3-5 pm. Please register for a time slot 3 pm and 4 pm. While supplies last. Each time slot will have a limited number of pumpkins to help with spacing. Call to reserve your spot.
