Tuesday, April 9th at 3 PM & 4 PM "" A library is a place of research and reading, adventure and learning. Can you and your friends break out of the library within 45 minutes? Can your research and problem-solving skills help get out you in time?
Join us at the Algoma Public Library on Tuesday, April 9 for two different sessions of our in-person escape room "The Secret Shelf". The first session will begin at 3 PM, the second session with begin at 4 PM. Please sign-up to reserve the spot for you and your family or friends.

Friday, April 5th at 3 PM Come to the Algoma Public Library every two weeks on Friday at 3:00 PM for our After School Movie. Movies selected will be rated PG-13 or younger. Today's Movie is: Movie: Rumble Rating:PG Runtime: 1 HR 44 MIN Our After School Movie program is geared towards children and tweens along with their caregivers. We ask that adults with no children refrain from attending.  Kids 9 and older are invited to come join us for Solar crafts on Wednesday, April 3rd from 3 to 4 pm for some fun crafts. We have another eclipse occurring on Monday, April 8th. We will have several crafts that relate to solar eclipses. Kids will be able to pick up a pair of eclipse sunglasses. *Limit 1 per family*

Stop by at the library starting Monday, March 18th at 10 AM to get the supplies to assemble your very own bird feeder to make for your own backyard visitors.

Stop by the library on March 4th between 3:15 and 4 PM to be immersed in an international snacking program as we try different snacks from around the world.
Supplies are limited. Sign-ups are not required, but encouraged.  Join us as we do our 3rd annual Family Winter Reading Challenge from January 1st to February 29th. Track your reading on our Beanstack app during the months of January and February and be entered to win a prize! Open to families and individuals of all ages.
*For those that struggle with technology we do have a paper tracking log available too. You can download it here or stop in the library to pick up. All log sheets must be turned in by Friday, March 1st by 6 pm. Winners will be chosen Monday, March 4th.
