Come paint a Bumble Bee Cat picture with Abbey, a local artist on Saturday, December 9th at 10:30 am. We will be using acrylic paints for our Bumblebee Cats masterpiece step by step. Supplies included (acrylic paints, 8 x 10 canvas, and paintbrushes). Sign up strongly recommended for adults as space is limited.

This program is open to all ages. Young children are encouraged to be accompanied by older family members. Love Mazes? Love Candy Canes? With a partner, create a candy cane maze that will challenge other teams!
30 minutes will be given to design a maze with candy canes. Teams will then exchange mazes to move marbles through. Can your team create a challenging maze? Planning ahead will help with the time factor! Between homework, extracurriculars, jobs, family plans, and keeping up with friends, there are lots of things to fill your calendars as a teenager. The Algoma Public Library would like to help you add some more fun amongst the plans. Teens are welcome to come to the Library starting at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, November 21st to unwind with friends in our after hours Teen Game Night. Please note that because this is an after hours program, teens must arrive between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM since the doors will be locked after our scheduled open hours. Teens that need to leave before the end of the program won't be able to come back in after 7 PM. Staff will be available until 8 PM. Please make sure rides know that the library will close and staff will be leaving at 8 PM. Join us on Tuesday, November 21st at 1 pm. We are reading "Braiding Sweetgrass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer. This kit is geared towards kids and families. Supplies will be limited and kits will be given out on a "first come, first served" basis. Come play on our Nintendo Switch with us on Wednesday, November 15th between 3-5 pm. We will have a couple of different games available to play. Bring a friend or two for a friendly competition.
