Summer Reading 2024

Children's and Teen Summer Reading Challenges

Starting Monday, June 3rd until Friday, July 19th

How to Participate:

Stop by the library starting Monday, June 3rd to get registered for our Children and/or Teen Summer Reading Program.

Patrons from birth to 11 years old may register for our Children's program.

Patrons between the ages of 13 to 19 may register for our Teen Program.

Patrons that are 12 years of age may pick between the Children's and Teen Programs. These patrons cannot pick to participate in both.

Tracking your Reading

Children and Teens will be provided with reading logs to track their reading over the Summer. Reading is tracked in 15 minute intervals. For every hour that is read, 1 bucket raffle ticket can be redeemed at the circulation desk of the library.

Tickets?

There is no limit to how many tickets participants may earn. The more tickets you enter in for a prize, the higher your chance that your name will be pulled at the end of our Summer Reading Program.

Tickets entered do not guarantee that participants will win.

The last day for Children and Teens to turn in their reading logs for tickets is Thursday, July 18th before the library closes.

Adult Summer Reading Program

Starting Saturday, June 1st until Friday, August 31st

How to Participate:

Patrons 19 years of age or older can register for our Adult Summer Reading Program at the Circulation desk of the library starting Monday, June 3rd.

This year's Adult Summer Reading Challenge is to read 15 books between the dates of June 1st and August 31st. Completed reading logs can be turned in at the circulation desk for a chance to win one of many wonderful prizes.
