Katie is not a professional but has over 15 years using Microsoft Word for personal and business purposes. Valentines Day is almost upon us. This time of year comes with a lot of thinking of the ones we love. However, it's just as important to show ourselves some love and care.

Join Braelyn on Wednesday, February 10th at 5 PM via Zoom for a program about self love and self worth, so that, during the season of love, we remember to love ourselves first and foremost.

Sign up is required for this program.

Patrons can sign up (whether they have a library card or not) for the Zoom call, by sending their first and last name along with their most used email address via social media direct messages (Instagram, Facebook), via the sign-up form on our website, through email (to alg@algomapubliclibrary.org), or by calling us at the library ( 920-487-2295 ).

Age recommendations: Middle School age and above (not recommended for young children)

Community Art Project

We want to create a Community Art Project and need your help! Call (920)487-2295, email (alg@algomapubliclibrary.org), or Facebook Message us to set up a time to pick up your puzzle piece to make into your own piece of art. Paint (acrylic, oil, watercolor...), collage, use mixed media, 2D, 3D, or whatever you'd like on your piece. When we have them all collected, we will mount them and display our Community Art in the library for all to see. Kits available via Sign Up so we can keep track of who has a piece.

​Pieces due back by February 1.


We are offering Curbside Pickup on:

Mondays & Friday's 10am to 5pm
Tuesdays & Thursday's 10am to 6pm
Wednesday's 10am to 7pm.

Among Us is a popular app that's free to download or $5.00 on Steam. Sign up for Among Us Night to get invited to a private Zoom call where players can talk to each other while trying to figure out who is the Imposter!

This program is geared towards Teens as the game has very mild violence.

​DISCLAIMER: If we do not have a full 10 players in attendance, the remaining spots will be opened to the people browsing for public games. Please keep that in mind when attending or having your children attend. The Algoma Public Library is not responsible for the language used by those players.
