National Library Week April 6-12. Drawn to the Library Logo for 2026
​In celebration of National Library Week, we invite you to stop in this week and share what makes the library your special place!
How to Participate:
  1. Pick up a "What's the Draw?" template at the library.
  2. Draw or write about what you love most about the library—whether it’s your favorite books, a cozy spot, library programs, or something else!
  3. Return your completed drawing to the library and see it displayed on our social media or in the library.
It’s a simple, fun way to celebrate everything that makes our library so loved, and we can’t wait to see your creativity shine! 🌟
Everyone is welcome to participate—young and old alike!

Bookbinding with Anna

Come learn with Anna on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at 11 am, as she takes you through the basics of bookbinding allowing you to make your own notebook! Registration is required. Please call or stop in by Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 to ensure we have enough materials. 

All supplies will be provided, but if you'd like to use your own fabric / material cover you can bring it. *Note: if bringing your own fabric it needs to be Quilting Cotton and no smaller than 8 inches by 11 inches.

VR Game Day

On the third Wednesday of every month from 3 PM to 5 PM, the Algoma Public Library invites our patrons to step into Virtual Reality. March's VR Game Day is on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 from 3 to 5 pm. Our two headsets, made possible by the Friends of the Library, will be set up in our meeting room space for patrons to enjoy. 

Sign-ups are required as each patron will be given a 15 minute turn. 
(Amount of time for each patron is subject to change depending on attendance.)
