 Travel the world visiting places virtually with our Virtual Reality Headsets seeing new places rain or shine!
We have 2 headsets open from 1 pm to 4:30 pm for 20 minute increments on Monday, March 30th. Sign up for a time slot today. Geared for 12 and up. *Please be advised that using Virtual Reality Headsets can be distorting and may cause motion sickness. You can use them while standing or siting.  Bring your project and craft join us on the 3rd Saturday of the Month from 10 am to 2 pm.
Open to quilters, painters and needle crafters or just those who want conversation about their craft. *Experienced quilter on hand.  Tax Day is a month away! Librarian Katie will show you how to navigate to find tax forms for both State and Federal on Thursday, March 19th at 11:30 am.

 Story Time is going green for St. Patrick’s Day! Come on down for a wee half-hour of tales, tunes, and giggles with the littles aged 1–3. Mums, dads, and minders—join the craic as we listen, move, and play together.  Ever wonder what to do with border print or striped fabric? The 60-degree table runner is a perfect choice! Join Niki on Saturday, March 14 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm as she walks you through the table runner. It may look much more complicated than it is, but with careful cutting, it goes together quickly and easily.
You will soon be looking for striped fabric everywhere to make more of these fun table runners. Perfect for holidays and gifts. *For a $10 donation to the library, you will receive a pre-cut kit and directions. (If you prefer to purchase and cut your own fabric, please pick up cutting directions at the library circulation desk when you register.)*  Want to jam with friends? Join us on 2nd Friday of the Month from 3 to 5 pm. This is a time to practice and Jam with other local musicians without amps or plugging in instruments. Open to teens and adults, space is limited.
 Join us to discuss your latest reads each month on the 2nd Thursday of the Month. This month find us at Off The Hook Bar & Grill (205 Navarino St, Algoma) on Thursday, March 12th, 2026 at 5:30 pm.  Celebrate Mario Day on March 10th from 3:30–4:30PM with a Mario Kart Tournament! Race your friends, test your skills, and see who will claim the victory cup. (Teens Only)
 Celebrate the season’s finale of Bridgerton on March 6th from 1:00–2:30 PM at the Algoma Public Library’s Diamond of the Season Tea Party. Play themed bingo, sip tea, and discuss your favorite moments from the season while creating a craft of your choice using our provided supplies. (For ages 18+)
