Help the County, Get Library Fines RemovedOnce again the Algoma Public Library will be collecting non-perishable food items to help you get rid of your overdue fines.
For every item you bring in $1.00 will be removed from your library fines up to $25.00*.
Here is how it works:
After National Library Week, the library will take all the food to the Kewaunee County Food Pantry and that food will help all the people throughout the county.
*Damaged and Replacement Fines cannot be removed!

Cost Savings Example One:Imagine you have $100.00 in overdue fines you would like to pay off using Food For Fines. You can do this using the 12 Packs of Raman Noodles, which can be purchased for $3.00 each at Piggly Wiggly.
12 Raman Noodles x 9 packages = 108 packages of Raman Noodles (more than enough to pay off your fine) 9 packages x $3.00 = $27.00 $100.00 Fine - $27.00 cost of food = $73.00 Savings |
